Not just a favourite amongst cats, bees and butterflies also love the minty fragrance of catnip. This spreading plant grows to around 60cm (24") and produces lavender blue flowers which last all summer.

• Sow very thinly on good fine well draining seed compost, under-cover with warmth provided, from 8 weeks before the last frost.  Barely cover the seed.
• Germination 14 -21 days under correct conditions.
• Can be sown outdoors in late spring after the soil has warmed.
• Thin / transplant to trays / pots when large enough to handle and grow on under cooler conditions.
