This morning glory is a very old variety which produces dark purple flowers with an attractive central red star. They are a magnificent climber, and produce a a profusion of gorgeous trumper shaped flowers with dense foliage. A half hardy annual, which can survive the winter outside with a little protection from frost in the milder parts of the country.

• Soak seeds overnight in warm water for 24 hours before planting early to mid-spring under cover with warmth
• Acclimatise to cooler conditions once all danger of frost has passed
