A German Heirloom Winter Radish producing crisp, white-fleshed oval shaped radish of excellent flavour and texture, standing well into winter. Traditionally served as a snack in Germany, sliced, dipped in sugar or salted and washed down with beer.
- Sow sparingly as these are larger than standard Radishes, often and little from the last frost until winter for a continuous crop all summer.
- These will harvest well into winter from a late autumn sowing.
- Can be picked from golf ball size or left to mature to turnip size in early winter
